Soft-close door kits

A soft-close system helps when the door has reached the latch but has not fully closed: the mechanism completes the movement and draws the lock into the fully closed position. Passengers do not need to slam the door; the device does not open or swing it, but works at the final stage of closing.

The HAVOC listings for the Mercedes EQC and EQS describe a kit of four soft-close locks and cables. Installation involves replacing the original locks with soft-close units, using factory mounting points and plug-to-plug connections without modifying the original wiring. These listings also specify installation without drilling the body or doors. These conditions apply specifically to the listed vehicle-specific kits.

A soft-close system is useful in everyday use when a child or passenger does not fully close the door on the first attempt. The system completes the closing movement quietly and helps prevent the lock being left at its first latch position. Choose the kit for the exact body style: for example, the Mercedes EQS SUV and EQS Sedan have separate product listings.

Examples: kit for Mercedes EQC and kit for Mercedes EQS SUV. To compare EQS body styles, a separate version is available: saloon version.
